AFLEX holds consultative forum on leadership development

Addis Ababa, July 11, 2023, the African Leadership Excellence Academy held a Consultative forum on national leadership development with leaders from various regions and representatives of religious leaders at the Skylight Hotel.

In the opening remark, the Vice Chief of the program sector of the academy, Mrs. Hiwot Alemayheu, said the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss and consult on national leadership matters.

The vice chief broadcasted that, it is the duty of the academy to help leaders improve their skills and in the current situation, it is to formulate a curriculum and gather resources for leadership development.

Mrs. Hiwot, opened the meeting, by saying researcher and teacher, Professor Yalew Endawek would lead the discussion.

The professor preceded the discussion by asking what leadership is. What is the purpose? How is leadership expressed in our country? And each participant gave his own understanding.

In the exchange of ideas program that lasted for half a day, governmental and non-governmental bodies participated in the discussion the questions; do we have good leadership skills? What is the strategy? What are the challenges and what can be done to overcome the problem? Rose by the moderator
