AFLEX Seeks Collaborative Support to Enhance Leadership Development and Fundraising Strategy

Zadig Abreha, President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, emphasized the urgent need for a Leadership Development Program strategy to effectively execute the AFLEX strategic plan.

Zadig Abreha, President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, and Charu Bist, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, discussed the development of a leadership development strategy document.

The President stated that AFLEX plans to develop a comprehensive Leadership Development Strategy document during the discussion. “This document will serve as a blueprint for nurturing and advancing leadership within our organization,” he stated. “To bring this vision to fruition, we seek funding from UNDP, which we believe shares our commitment to fostering leadership excellence.”

“To successfully implement our strategy and maintain our momentum, we need to augment our team with individuals who possess the necessary skills and expertise,” said Mr. Zadig. “Their inclusion in our workforce is crucial to driving our initiatives forward and achieving our objectives on time.”

In conjunction with our leadership strategy, we aim to collaborate on developing a fundraising strategy that aligns with our objectives. “We have always valued our partnership with UNDP and trust that your support will enable us to enhance our human resources and effectively execute our plans.” added Mr. Zadig.

In a recent discussion, MS. Charu Bist, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, expressed UNDP’s unwavering support for AFLEX and its vision. “We recognize the importance of AFLEX initiatives and are dedicated to supporting you in realizing your goals,” she stated, reinforcing the commitment to advancing leadership capacity building for African and Ethiopian leaders.

Ms. Charu emphasized the necessity of partnership in this journey, declaring, “We need to see your progress, which is why we are fully supportive of your vision. UNDP is committed to collaborating with AFLEX to develop a successful Leadership Development Program and a robust fundraising strategy document.”
