Wondeye Legese is the Vice Chief of the Academy and Head of Operations overseeing Finance, Admin, HR, Logistics, IT, and Procurement. 

Prior to assuming his current role in April 2022, Wondeye was the Director of Quality Assurance, and the President’s Office for three years. In addition, he has served the local government in various capacities: Head of Zonal Youth and Sports Office, Head of Zonal Civil Service and Good Governance Office, and Manager, Bishoftu Training Center, Ethiopian Management Institute.

Wondeye graduated from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China with a PhD in International Relations, holds a Master of Arts degree from Ethiopian Civil Service University in Urban Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations form Addis Ababa University.
