Transforming Higher Education Leadership: A Collaborative Effort

There was a discussion on the issues that could be formulated to build the capacity of the higher education leadership development program.
The discussion was held by the President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, Mr. Zadig Abraha, and the Minister of Education, Prof. Birhanu Nega.
The two institutions discussed ways to fill the leadership capacity gap in the higher education sector and formulate a comprehensive higher education leadership development program.
Zadig Abraha, the president of the African Leadership Academy, said in the discussion that the higher education leadership development program being designed by the two institutes will not be taken lightly in building the sector’s leadership capacity for the quality of education and building the next generation.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Birhanu Nega, pointed out that the higher education leadership development program that will be created will create an opportunity to effectively develop the leadership of the sector and expressed his belief that it will be better than the experience and training that is supposed to be available in Europe and America.
