AFLEX Chief, Highlights the Importance of Collaboration with the International Community for AFLEX Reform

Mr. Zadig Abreha discussed this with the Indonesian ambassador, Al Busyra Basnur. Through their conversation, Mr. Zadig illuminated the planned activities of the African Leadership Excellence Academy Reform in the areas of scaling up and transformation. They also visited the Leadership Development Centre in Sululta.

Mr. Zadig Abreha, the Chief of AFLEX Academy, highlighted the ongoing process of reform in the areas of scaling up and transformation within the academy. Recognizing the importance of collaboration with the international community to achieve their goals, he expressed his gratitude to the Honourable Ambassador for accepting the invitation to discuss matters related to AFLEX.

Following the explanation about AFLEX’s leadership development program’s reform, scaling up, and transformation, Ambassador Al Busyra Basnur expressed his embassy’s collaboration for development initiatives in Ethiopia. He conveyed his commitment to cooperate with AFLEX and contribute to the accomplishment of the academy’s plans.

Regarding the reform aimed at establishing AFLEX as a think tank, the Indonesian Embassy proposed the possibility of working together by inviting scholars and researchers with extensive experience in the field of research.

Ambassador Al Busyra Basnur revealed that they would engage with higher education institutions in Indonesia and invite scholars who could sponsor the leadership development program.

He additionally stated that they would communicate AFLEX’s reform, scaling up, and transformation strategy to Indonesian government officials, the diplomatic community, academics, and the business community.

It was agreed that the embassy and AFLEX should quickly identify the specific issues they will be working on and continue accordingly. The Ambassador also presented three books written by himself to Mr. Zadig.
