AFLEX Signed a Partnership Agreement with the Multi-disciplined Leadership Institution in China

African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) and Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI) signed a partnership agreement at a ceremony held at the head office of the academy.

The purpose of the memorandum is to strengthen exchanges and cooperation procedures among the two sides in areas of training, scientific research, and public management.

During the signing ceremony, Mrs. Hiwot Alemayehu, Vice Chief of AFLEX, indicated that the agreement provides an opportunity for AFLEX to get its best practices, particularly in professionalism, training technologies, human development, and research. She affirmed that the potential partnership and cooperation areas are sharing experiences in training, governance, leadership building, and other related fields, and conducting academic workshops.

Prof. Mei Lihong, Vice President, Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI), stated for her part that the MoU laid the foundation for cooperation among AFLEX and the SAI. The two sides also discussed ways to increase bilateral cooperation.

The agreement was signed between Mrs. Hiwot Alemayehu, Vice Chief of Programs, African Leadership Excellence Academy, and Prof. Mei Lihong, Vice President, Shanghai Administration Institute (SAI), representing AFLEX and SAI, respectively. The exclusive associate for SAI in Africa is African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX).

SPI was established on June 16, 1949 with over 510 registered teaching and administrative staff members within it headquarter campus and two branch campuses.

During their stay in AFLEX, the delegation visited both the AFLEX training center in Sululta and the headquarter.
