Empowering Women Leaders: AFLEX and the Role of the Ministry

Mr. Zadig Abraha and Eregoge Tesfaye discussed the reform of the African Leadership Excellence Academy and the importance of collaboration for the development of the Women and Social Affairs sector.
During the meeting, Zadig presented AFLEX’s plans for reform, scaling up, and transformation, emphasizing the need for support from the Ministry in program design and implementation.
In his presentation, Mr. Zadig mentioned the academy’s focus on empowering women leaders and professionals in the sector through a women’s leadership development program. He also highlighted the role of the Ministry in this endeavor, specifically in terms of its contribution to research and development through the proposed center.
Eregoge Tesfaye (Ph.D.) praised AFLEX’s initiatives for senior management empowerment and emphasized the need for further discussions with Ministry experts and the management team on idea production center construction.
