The African Leadership Excellence Academy and the Ethiopian Electricity Service recently engaged in a conversation to explore an alliance for a leadership development program.

Mr. Zadig Abreha, the chief of AFLEX, announced that the academy has developed both general and specialized leadership development programs for the Ethiopian Electricity Utility as part of its Scaling Up and Transformation programs.

He expressed a strong interest in partnering with the utility to enhance leadership skills and expertise within the sector through this program.

Mr. Shiferaw Telila, the Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Electricity Utility, attended AFLEX’s presentation of their three-year strategy plan and expressed their organization’s strong desire to collaborate with AFLEX, particularly in alignment with their mission.

He also expressed interest in contributing to the establishment of a center for the green economy and has allocated human resources to oversee and manage this endeavor.

The CEO emphasized their commitment to empowering the leadership and professionals within the utility by participating in AFLEX’s general and specialized leadership development programs.

Additionally, he expressed a desire to be involved in AFLEX’s award program, which aims to empower leadership within the sector.
