African Leadership Excellence Academy Unveils 2017 Plans, Outlines Implementation Strategies

The African Leadership Excellence Academy charts a ambitious course for the year ahead, leveraging strategic partnerships and tailored training to elevate public service delivery in Ethiopia.

The president of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, Mr. Zadig Abraha, has provided an in-depth explanation on the implementation of the institution’s 2016 EC plan and the upcoming 2017 plan.

During the plan implementation report, Mr. Zadig responded to questions raised by the academy’s leaders and experts on the 100-day plan.

He mentioned that the academy is receiving support from many international and local institutions in the form of funding and ideas.

Based on the academy’s performance in the previous year, Mr. Zadig urged all sectors and departments to work with determination to achieve better plan implementation for the 2017 program.

In a related development, the African Leadership Excellence Academy has provided training to the leaders and staff of the institution in the service delivery phase at the academy’s hall in Sululta.

According to Dr. Eshete Abebe, the program sector coordinator, the purpose of the training is to identify training challenges, understand customer service, and ensure the academy’s service delivery lives up to its name.

Dr. Eshete also provided an explanation on the behavior and issues faced by Ethiopian civil servants, underscoring the academy’s commitment to holistic leadership development and public service transformation.
