Empowering Africa’s Leadership: AFLEX Academy and UNDP Forge a Path of Transformation. AFLEX Academy and UNDP Collaborate to Shape Future Leaders in Africa

Mr. Zadig Abraha, chief of AFLEX Academy, discussed with the Director of UNDP Regional Service Center for Africa and Samuel Gbaydee Doe, UNDP Resident Representative.
The discussion centered around the leadership development projects that AFLEX plans to implement over the next three years.
Mr. Zadig mentioned that the African Leadership Excellence Academy has designed four general and thirty-eight specialized leadership development programs.
He explained that a detailed strategy, consisting of over 2,500 pages, has been prepared for the implementation of these programs.
He also highlighted AFLEX ‘s collaboration with local and foreign stakeholders and expressed the desire to work in cooperation with UNDP to achieve their plans.
Mathias Z. Naab (PhD), a senior UNDP expert assigned to work with AFLEX, expressed admiration for the reform initiatives planned by AFLEX within a short period of time.
He acknowledged the impressive expansion and transition strategy and expressed the willingness to collaborate with AFLEX in making their leadership development framework a reality.
Samuel Gbaydee Doe, UNDP Resident Representative, emphasized the importance of the discussion and its role in further deepening the relationship between AFLEX and UNDP.
He recognized the program as a significant step towards strengthening the partnership between the two institutions.
As part of the visit, the Director of UNDP Regional Service Center for Africa and Samuel Gbaydee Doe, UNDP Resident Representative, had the opportunity to tour the AFLEX facility.
