JAN 2, 2025 (AFLEX-SULUlTA) – African Leadership Excellence Academy and the Ministry of Culture and Sports have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on leadership capacity building

The MoU was signed by the President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, Mr. Zadig Abreha, and the Minister of Culture and Sports, Her Excellency Shewit Shanka, at the African Leadership Excellence Academy in Sululta.

This agreement aims to enhance joint training, research, and consultancy activities between the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the African Leadership Excellence Academy, focusing on expanding leadership knowledge and skills.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Zadig Abreha expressed that this agreement will bring about significant changes in the leadership landscape of Ethiopian culture and sports.
He emphasized that it will enable the sector to be led by competent leaders, recognizing the important social and economic roles that culture and sports play in the country.

Her Excellency Minister Shewit Shanka remarked that the agreement will primarily help to increase the sector’s capacity to implement programs effectively, provide better training, and produce skilled human resources. This partnership is poised to create a more competent leadership structure in Ethiopia’s culture and sports sectors, ultimately benefiting the nation’s development.
