AFLEX Hosts Landmark Leadership Conference – Fostering Inclusivity and Collaboration among Ethiopia’s Leaders

DEC 5, 2024 (AFLEX, SULULUTA) — The African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) held a significant Leadership Conference focused on collaboration and inclusivity among Ethiopia’s leaders.
In his opening remarks, Ato Zadig Abraha, President of AFLEX, emphasized the leadership conference’s uniqueness, stating it features a diverse group of participants from all regions of the country.
He noted that the conference attracted attendees aged 20 to 59, emphasizing youth participation, particularly among those aged 20 to 29.
Ato Zadig praised the conference for achieving gender balance and fostering collaboration across various sectors, including the executive branch and civil society.

He highlighted AFLEX’s partnerships with global institutions, such as Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and several Russian organizations, as well as efforts to strengthen ties with Middle Eastern entities and U.S. universities.
Emphasizing African collaboration, the president assured attendees of AFLEX’s increasing engagement with institutions like the African Union.
He encouraged participants to leverage the opportunity to expand their networks, stating that resources are available for those with innovative ideas.
