The African Leadership Excellence Academy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, is providing capacity-building training to the Ministry’s staff.
The training, which will involve twenty-three experts, will last for eight days, and the participants will undergo extensive training on various topics, according to the senior expert at the Economic Reforms and Privatization Office of the Ministry of Finance and the coordinator of the training.
The coordinator stated that the training focuses on achieving effective performance by coordinating the human resources in the institution and working as a team. The coaches at the academy are using their full potential to impart the necessary knowledge and skills.
The training topics include Future Thinking, Discovery and Readiness of Future-Proof Thinking, Tools and Methods in Future Thinking, Developing Future Thinking Competencies and Mindset, Strategies for embedding Future Thinking into daily Ministry of Finance Organizational Processes and Strategic Roles, and Problem Analysis and Solution Design.
Mr. Lsanework, a participant, stated that the training is practical and helps to solve the problems encountered at work. He also mentioned that the service delivery of the academy allows the trainees to focus on the training without being distracted.
It is also noted that the training will continue in different rounds, indicating the ongoing commitment to capacity building within the Ministry of Finance.
