AFLEX is excited to announce a meaningful step forward in our partnership with the Lead Like Mandela Institute, following the recent signing of our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
In our first strategic discussion, both teams explored ways to strengthen collaboration and identify tangible areas of cooperation. At the heart of our conversation was a shared commitment to empowering Africa’s youth and cultivating the next generation of transformative leaders.
During the meeting, Mr. Zadig powerfully reflected on the enduring legacy of Nelson Mandela—whose influence continues to shape not only Ethiopia’s socio-political landscape but also that of the entire continent. He emphasized the vast leadership potential that lies within African youth, calling on us to nurture the spirit of Madiba.
Professor Ndileka Mandela, granddaughter of Nelson Mandela, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, noting its strong alignment with global and continental frameworks such as the G20 agenda, BRICS leadership development programs, and the African Union’s vision for sustainable progress.
To ensure impactful implementation, we also agreed to form a dedicated coordination team that will oversee and drive our joint initiatives.
Our next meeting is set to take place in Johannesburg, where we will review the progress of specific programs and share key milestones with our wider community.
Stay tuned as we continue to build bridges for a stronger, united, and empowered Africa.
