AFLEX and ELEOS Group Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to Advance Leadership Development in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2024 (AFLEX) – The African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) and ELEOS Group have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on enhancing leadership development and institutional capacity in Ethiopia.

This MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at addressing key leadership and development challenges across the region.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Zadig Abreha, President of AFLEX, outlined the core objectives of the MoU. He emphasized that the partnership would focus on several critical areas to help build sustainable leadership capacity and improve institutional effectiveness.

Mr. Zadig shared his expectations for the successful implementation of the MoU, noting that the collaboration will yield several tangible outcomes that will positively affect Ethiopia’s leadership landscape and institutional capacity, Enhanced Leadership Skills and Capacities Among Ethiopian Leaders, Improved Institutional Effectiveness and Competitiveness, Evidence-Based Recommendations for Policy and Institutional Reform, Strengthened Partnerships and Networks Among Leaders and Institutions, Enhanced Access to Training Resources and Improved Sustainability of Programs.

Mr. Zadig stressed that this partnership is an important step toward addressing leadership gaps and institutional challenges that hinder the country’s development potential.

The MoU with ELEOS Group represents a significant milestone in AFLEX’s mission to create a new generation of African leaders who can drive transformation and sustainable development. the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mrs. Meseret Desta, Vice Chief of Academy, Leadership Development, representing AFLEX, and Ms. Kidist Gebreamlak, CEO of Eleos.
