December 17, 2024 /SULULTA/ – Ato Zadig Abreha, President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX), delivered a compelling presentation on the concept of integration during the ongoing protocol cadet training.
The training, which began yesterday, continued today, with Ato Zadig addressing the audience on the importance of integration in overcoming challenges.
In his presentation, Ato Zadig explored several critical questions: What is integration? Why is it needed? What are its advantages? What challenges does it face? He began by sharing the experiences of successful individuals and nations, emphasizing that everyone encounters difficulties.
“Either giving up or giving in after a short struggle, but persevering to the end is the key to success; this is the idea of MEDEMER,” he stated.
Drawing a parallel between nature and society, Ato Zadig remarked that, just as a tree must be uprooted to prevent its growth, addressing Ethiopia’s challenges requires identifying their root causes.
He noted that Ethiopia has often attempted to imitate other countries in its modern history, failing. “Now is the time for us to walk our path!”
He declared, asserting that MEDEMER, an indigenous concept, is the route to national prosperity.
The meeting concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants raised comments and questions, all of which Ato Zadig addressed thoughtfully. His insights reinforced the importance of perseverance and collaboration in achieving collective success.
