AFLEX and ACBF Move Forward with MOU Implementation to Drive African Development

Addis Ababa- February 14, 2025 (AFLEX):- In a significant step toward advancing African development, the African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) and the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) have taken concrete steps to implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed earlier between the two organizations.

Today, on February 14, 2025, AFLEX President Mr. Zadig Abreha and ACBF Executive Secretary Mr. Mamadou Biteye held a high-level discussion to finalize the implementation strategy of the MOU.

Both leaders expressed their commitment to accelerating the execution of the agreement, which aims to address critical challenges and opportunities across the continent.

As part of the implementation process, AFLEX has developed a detailed Action Plan, which has been shared with ACBF. The two organizations have agreed to establish a Technical Committee to oversee the execution of the initiatives outlined in the plan.

This committee will play a pivotal role in driving forward key projects, including Preparing concept notes and proposals on pressing African issues, Organizing the Future Summit and the African Think Tank Summit, Advancing the African Dream initiative and Strengthening future institutions and capacity-building programs across the continent.

Mr. Zadig Abreha emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating, “This partnership is a milestone in our shared vision for a prosperous Africa. We are ready to work hand-in-hand with ACBF to turn our plans into action.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Mamadou Biteye remarked, “The time for action is now. By working together, we can unlock Africa’s potential and build a brighter future for generations to come.”
