AFLEX and The Ministry of Labor and Skills Join Forces to Transform Ethiopia’s Skills

The African Leadership Excellence Academy and The Ministry of labor and Skills have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together in four key areas.
The agreement was signed by the the President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, Zadig Abreha and Minister of Labor and Skills, Mufrihat Kamil.
Under the partnership, the two institutes will carry out joint research activities in four main areas: improving leadership skills, creating a work culture transition, encouraging entrepreneurship, and developing the sector.
President of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, Zadig Abreha, expressed that the agreement will place a strong emphasis on increasing the competence of leaders, a critical factor in driving economic and social progress.
Minister of Jobs and Skills, Muferihat Kamil, stated that the agreement is focused on the development of competitive human resources and achieving the plan in the field of employment and opportunity creation.
She added that the ministry will work with the African Leadership Excellence Academy to empower executive bodies and prepare leadership development program to help create job opportunities.
This collaborative partnership between the Ministry of Labor and Skills and the African Leadership Academy is poised to unlock the vast potential of Ethiopia’s workforce, fostering innovative leadership development and creating new pathways to sustainable
employment.
