Africa Day 2025 Commemorated with Panel Discussions at AFLEX

Sululta, May 24, 2025 (AFLEX): Africa Day 2025 is commemorated today with a series of insightful panel discussions at the African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) in Sululta.

This event celebrates the 62nd anniversary of the former Organization of African Unity, now the African Union (AU), established in 1963.

The discussions bring together leaders, scholars, and youth representatives to reflect on Africa’s progress and the challenges that lie ahead.

Mr. Zadig Abreha, President of AFLEX, in his opening speech, emphasized the vital role of leadership in unlocking the continent’s potential and addressing pressing issues such as poverty and inadequate education systems.

The Ethiopian representative of IGAD highlights Africa’s rich cultural diversity and abundant natural resources, calling for coordinated efforts to maximize their benefits for all.
